North Texas Museum Announces Early Grand Opening

Back to Real Estate News

The Dallas/Fort Worth area is home to many world-famous museums and entertainment destinations, and Stephenville home owners enjoy being in close proximity to the culture and sophistication of a large metropolitan area. The Perot Museum of Nature & Science recently announced that its grand opening will take place ahead of schedule, and the museum is poised to add a unique experience to the mix of museums already established in the Dallas metro area.

The museum is located just north of downtown Dallas, and will feature innovative architecture designed by Thom Mayne and his firm, Morphosis Architects. Its addition to the Dallas landscape will blend in well with new residential and commercial developments in the area, and developers hope that it boosts the value of surrounding real estate.

The project was developed with use of private funds, which allowed developers to have more creative control of museum construction from start to finish. The facility will feature a 3-D digital cinema, 11 permanent exhibit halls, and a retail store, and officials expect it to bring in tourists from around the world.

Testimonials

“Jamie Stockstill held my hand through the entire process. Being a first time home buyer I had a million questions but she was always there, no matter what time of day, to answer my calls or texts. I always felt like she was working for my best interest. I will recommend her to anyone I come across looking to buy or sell.”
