4th of July is right around the corner, and Stephenville home owners will be turning out in full force to celebrate the 38th Annual Old-Fashioned 4th of July Celebration in Granbury. The Granbury Chamber of Commerce will, once again, host the event that attracts thousands of visitors each year. Six days of exciting festivities will culminate with the 4th of July Celebration.
Many can’t wait for the Patriotic Parade through the Historic Town Square, which has been featured in Southern Living and Texas Highways magazines. For those who love to dance, you won’t want to miss the 40 & 50’s Big-band music at the “Shall We Dance” event. On Sunday, July 1st, the acclaimed fireworks show over Lake Granbury will take place at dusk. Granbury’s fireworks show is ranked in the top 10 in the Southwestern United States and the top 50 in the country! The grand finale is the actual 4th of July event on the square, featuring live country music, food and drinks, an H-E-B Kids’ Zone, laser light show, and more!
Other events include the D & D Rockin’ Rods Car Show, Tom Ward Decorated Bike Contest, beach volleyball tournament, ranch rodeo, sidewalk sales, and “1776,” a musical put on by the Granbury Theatre Company. Live entertainment will be provided by the Dixieland Band & Tommy Alverson, Brad Hulsey Band, and the GHS Band.
Stephenville home owners love where they live because of the abundance of community-focused activities and events like the 4th of July Celebration! If you’re interested in real estate in Stephenville, please contact us. It would be our pleasure to show you around the community.
